Five April Tips (for busy gardeners)

  1.   Finish cleaning up any garden debris that harbor insects and diseases.
  2. Fertilize:  Take advantage of April showers to help distribute the food to the roots.
  3. Weed your garden beds:  The soft moist soil makes the job much easier.
  4. Amend your soil for better summer blooms.
  5. Set out summer vegies, annuals and perennials

Note:
Don’t fertilize azaleas, rhododenrons, or camelias now.  Wait until after they have finished blooming
